Thanks, Martha Stewart!

January 18th, 2010

For posting some of our pictures from Pauline and Dean’s stylish wedding at the Harold Pratt House:

Pauline, a designer for Anna Sui, fashioned her own dress, and Dean, a chef at Bar Boulud, brought an entire team of his chef friends to create the most memorably outstanding food we have ever experienced at a wedding! (Thank you, Pauline and Dean.)

What we love most about the Martha Stewart blog is that someone scanned these medium-format black and white prints with the black edge showing off the old-school KODAK 320TXP and ILFORD DELTA 3200PRO. Oh, how we love that stuff (the film , the edges, the good old days)!

Retro!

Here, a few images of the exceedingly lovely Lisa and Jim. With classic beauty on their side, we decided their engagement pictures should look a little vintage. The session took place outside our home in the country.

THE PHOTOBOOTH (Watch This!)

September 23rd, 2009

People smile, they laugh, by the end of the night, someone takes off their clothes. What can you do? It’s too much fun. It’s addictive.

In this video, we span the evening of Erin and Ken’s groovy wedding at Public, NYC.

May I just quote the bride?

“The photobooth was the shiznits, it was the bomb, it was totally and completely awesome. Everyone LOVED it!”

Nice exit!

Hello, Campers!

September 10th, 2009

Just mention the word zipline to me and I get a little giddy; I feel like I’m nine years old, back at ropes camp, eagerly awaiting my turn. So let’s just say I got a little excited about Lauren Edelstein and Brian Cleary’s wedding at the amazing Club Getaway in Kent, CT (renamed Camp Cleary for the weekend). Friends and family escaped here for a weekend of flying trapeze, rock climbing, waterskiing and wine tasting, capped off by an intimate wedding ceremony, dancing under a tent and late-night s’mores.camptrapeze2
